I have joined the group recently and am happy to see that I am in the right place.
ABOUT ME.
I am 74 years old Technocrat of Indian origin. I live in a East Asian Country and am comfortably retired. I have been doing Yoga for over 15 years, Pranayaam (Breathing exercises) for nearly 4 years. This is a branch of Yoga and I have benefitted immensely physically from it. My BP, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, Triglyceride have improved and are well within limits.
I have done Kundalini Yoga during last 5 years without much success and therefore the practice was not regular. Good thing is that I have full faith in the Kundalini Yoga. I have tried to find the reaons for my failures and as per my own reasoning and advise of some learned people they appear to be as follows.
1. I was doing Yoga with a strong desire to raise Kundalini Energy and was therefore easily disheartened when nothing happened.
2. I always tended to concentrate on the third eye area and took my failure to concentrate rather too seriously.
3. I tried to do Yoga in many time settings but did not make a fixed routine.
Well these are my thaughts only and my Friends on the list, who have valuable experience will surely help me on the right path.
