Your message was not clear. I have tried to understand. Did you you mean
to say that
You want to help people. To do that you feel that you have to .....
1. I should help myself.
2. I should not be angry.
3. Do not bother other people unnecessarily.
4. Be in good mode to enable myself to take better (right) decisions.
If you meant the above. It is essentially correct.
But you can start helping others while you perfect the above four
actions for self improvement.
Meditation will surely help.
